I’ve moved the news page across to WordPress, a pretty kickass blog/CMS.
This clearly is a better thing to be doing than actually revising for half my finals, which start in 2 weeks, and which will determine the course of my life.
The new nVidia drivers are out for Linux, promising better composite support, so if they actually make it usable, I will post pictures of my shiny transparent desktop.
Had the night out for the Church Holiday club for Primary School kids. This year we went out for a pre-pub meal, for the benefit of the under 18 helpers. However, this was rather amusingly pointless, due to the hen’s party at the next table hiring a male stripper, who started getting his kit off in front of the 12 year old girl who was helping, however, to his credit, focusing intently on the 30 something who was getting hitched.
Reassuringly, said 12 year old informed us that she’s currently learning about reproduction in Biology anyway, so her innocence has already been shattered.
